Outspoken Christian-conservative comedian and actor Rob Schneider made an appearance on Tucker Carlson’s podcast where he clearly demonstrated that his conversion to the Christian faith, specifically the Catholic expression of that faith, has resulted in true heart change. During the episode, Schneider, who is close friends with Adam Sandler and starred alongside him in numerous films, issued an apology to his daughter, Elle King, 35, publicly revealed the details of their strained relationship.
Only a heart that’s been truly captured by the King of Kings would experience a radical transformation that would enable a person to own up to their faults with such humility and place within that person a desire for penance. It’s such a wonderful thing to see. I sincerely hope and pray that Schneider will have an impact on his friends and lead them to Christ so we have more voices like his in Hollywood.
“It’s fun being a parent, isn’t it?” Schneider wisecracked in a clip for ”The Tucker Carlson Show” podcast, which will be available in full Thursday. “Well, I just want to tell my daughter, Elle, I love you, and I wish I was the father in my 20s that you needed, and clearly I wasn’t.”
“The Hot Chick” star then added, “I hope you can forgive me for my shortcomings. I love you completely. I love you entirely.”

Giving a nod to King’s son, Lucky, whom she welcomed in 2021 with tattoo artist Dan Tooker, Schneider noted, “I just want you to be well and happy with you and your beautiful baby Lucky. I wish you the best,” the 60-year-old continued. “I feel terrible, and I just want you to know I don’t take anything you say personally.”
Host Carlson then asked Schneider: “So when your daughter attacks you in public, how hard is it not to — you didn’t make any excuses or blame her or attack back — how hard is that?” The comedian replied, “If you love somebody completely — I love her. And all I want for her is to be happy and to heal from this.” Schneider took to X to promote his discussion with Carlson by posting a picture alongside the controversial news host.
“Thank YOU, @TuckerCarlson @TCNetwork for a wonderful conversation! It was an honor to be on the Biggest Podcast in the World, more importantly with a terrific person,” the actor said in the post.

The comedian also took an opportunity to promote the new novel he’s working on, saying, “I can’t wait for ALL of YOU to have a listen THIS THURSDAY! My new book ‘You can do it!’ Hatchette Books Sept. 24.”
Schneider’s daughter, King, had a conversation with Bunnie Xo for her podcast, “Dumb Blonde,” where she revealed that her dad sent her to a camp to help her lose weight.
“I was, like, a really, really heavy child. My dad sent me to fat camp,” the singer stated. “And then I got in trouble one year because I sprained my ankle and I didn’t lose any weight … Very toxic and very silly.”
King then revealed that she has had periods of four or five years where she has not talked with her father. She then spoke about the talk the two had at the beginning of her career in the music industry.
“I put out my record and people finally started asking me about my dad,” King recounted during the podcast. “My dad called me and was like, ‘Don’t f–king talk about me in the press.’ ”
The “Benchwarmers” actress went on to tell Bunnie that the filmmaker never tried to help her with her career but that she was uninterested in his assistance because he doesn’t have “a good reputation” in Hollywood. As a child, King recounted spending summers with her dad on a movie set, where she would get “lost in the shuffle.”
“If I ever messed up a shot, if I ever was talking, I would get in f–king trouble,” she confessed. King stated that she’s attempted to fix the relationship with Schneider, but that it hasn’t worked out, thus she put distance between the two of them, mostly due to what she called his “controversial comments.” The actress and singer said she disagrees “with a lot of things he says.”
“You’re talking out of your a– and you’re talking s–t about drag and, you know, anti-gay rights and it’s like, get f–ked,” she went on to say about Schneider. “He’s just talking out of his a– and I want to use this opportunity to say that I disagree! I do not agree with what he says!”
Later on in the podcast with Tucker, Schneider took an opportunity to discuss his conversion and then pray with the host before ending the episode.
Pray that the actor is able to rekindle his relationship with his daughter and the two find peace and reconciliation.
