We live in a world where major governments and institutions responsible for upholding our society have opted to drop basic morality installed in the heart by the Creator of our souls, choosing instead to walk in their own way, to live by their own standard of right and wrong, often accepting as good that which God condemns as evil, and condemning that which God calls good as evil.
No greater example of this exists than the craze that erupts every June which has been dubbed Pride Month, an entire thirty days dedicated to affirming the sinful lifestyle of the sexually deviant LGBT movement. Companies go gaga over it all every year, plastering all kinds of photos, memes, and profile pictures chock full of affirmations and rainbow flags.
Which is why it is utterly astounding to see that almost a whole third of Major League Baseball teams have not mentioned Pride Month on social media, despite the fact we’re 11 days deep in June.
Check out more from The Christian Post:
The Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Guardians, Houston Astros, Miami Marlins, Oakland Athletics, San Diego Padres and Texas Rangers have not mentioned pride month on their X accounts as of Tuesday although most of them plan to or have held pride events this year.
Pride month is recognized annually by LGBT activists in June, and sports teams often host pride nights to show support for the LGBT movement.
Many corporations, including sports teams, change their profile pictures on social media to incorporate the rainbow colors that have come to symbolize the movement. While several MLB teams have opted out of doing so, the majority of teams in the professional sports league have elected to show their support for pride month one way or another this year.
The Arizona Diamondbacks, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Dodgers, Minnesota Twins and the New York Yankees acknowledged pride month in social media posts. In addition to mentioning pride month in a June 1 post, the Baltimore Orioles changed the team’s profile picture on X to a rainbow-colored version of the Oriole logo.
Unfortunately, the Mets have capitulated to all of the nonsense, having posted up a picture on their X account about Pride Month, while also changing their account’s profile picture to one of the team’s logo in rainbow colors.

This is where we are at, ladies and gentlemen. Our Founding Fathers believed that the only way to remain a free country was to be a moral people. But what standard would serve as the foundation of that morality? They all believed the best standard of morality came out of the pages of Sacred Scripture. We have abandoned that belief and with it, it seems our blessings have been forfeit.
Supporting Pride Month is playing with the judgment of God.
“Similarly, the Philadelphia Phillies plugged pride month in a June 1 X post while changing the team’s profile picture to a rainbow-colored P and making the cover photo a picture of the word “baseball” with the last three letters lit up in rainbow colors that called on people to “Be True, Be You, Be Proud.” The Washington Nationals sent out a pride month post on the first day of the month and changed the team’s profile picture to a rainbow-colored version of its logo,” The Christian Post said.
Even one of the best, most fan-centered teams in the sport, the Chicago Cubs, promoted a pride night event to be held at the legendary Wrigley Field scheduled for June 17, which would include rainbow-colored C’s as the team’s logo. The Colorado Rockies also promoted an upcoming pride night set for June 15, while the Milwaukee Brewers published an entire thread on X dedicated to both pride month and a pride event.
The St. Louis Cardinals shared images from its pride night on June 7, nearly a week after signaling its support for the occasion in a June 1 post. The Tampa Bay Rays posted in recognition of pride month on June 1 while changing its profile picture to the team’s logo bathed in rainbow colors.
Let’s hope that these teams that have remained silent on the subject of Pride Month continue to have the intestinal fortitude to continue doing so.
