Father Calvin Robinson, a priest in the Old Catholic Church from the United Kingdom, who relocated to the United States due to perverse wokeness in his home country and out-of-control illegal immigration, issued a warning to American Christians. He told believers in the U.S. to not sit back and be apathetic or complacent and allow our culture here to decline the way his did in the UK. Robinson now lives in the state of Michigan.
“Please don’t do what we did,” he pleaded during an interview with the Christian Post, putting out a call for American Christians to boldly stand up for Christianity. “Please don’t just sit back and let the liberals deteriorate the rest of everything that you know and love,” he added. He further described the state of affairs in the U.K., illustrating the culture has imploded as cultures clash, particularly with Muslim immigrants.

Robinson emphasized that Western society was founded on Christianity, despite attempts from secular intellectuals dating back to the Enlightenment to remove Jesus Christ from its culture. “What we now call the ‘West,’ we used to call Christendom because it was built on Christian foundations,” he said.
“Essentially, they tried to remove Christ from Christendom,” he added during the conversation, going on to explain how this could have a massive negative impact on society. “And, of course, when you take out the foundation, the house will eventually crumble. And this is what we’re seeing in the West at the moment.”
The popular priest then pointed toward how modern-day society is drifting away from the Christian faith and allowing other ideologies and religions to spread their belief systems unopposed, which is influencing our culture in big ways.

“We’re starting to see the bad fruits of that. And so, without our Christian moral compass, without our Christian values, without our Christian ethics, without any of that, we are grasping at straws. And this is why we’re seeing some woke ideologies temporarily take the place of what used to be Christian,” he stated.
Further illustrating how Christianity in the U.K. has declined, Robinson pointed out that British religious institutions have compromised various points of Christian doctrine. “The Church of England has become very liberal in terms of divorce, sex outside marriage, same-sex relationships, transgenderism. And every time the Church tries to be more inclusive, it actually becomes more exclusive to Christianity and to Christian values, and more inclusive to worldly values and just further plummets that downward trajectory.”
While the U.S. lags slightly behind the U.K. on these issues, Robinson warned that America is following the same trajectory and urged citizens to safeguard its culture. “These kinds of trends are happening in the States, too, I think,” he said. “Be careful. American culture is a fantastic culture. Hold on to it, promote it, encourage it. If you want to become multicultural and let other cultures in, that’s something you have to consider. But do not give it up to the detriment of your own.”
Robinson then made a very important point very clear. There’s a lot of reason to be sad and concerned about how things are going at the moment, but we should place faith and hope in God and his plan for human history. And that is something all of those who are “blackpilled” — pessimistic about the future — should take to heart. God promises in the end the good guys win. While it’s dark right now, He will shine forth the light of His glory through it all and make things new.
“I don’t despair at all,” Robinson said. “Despair is a sin. There’s no sense in despairing. As I say, empires rise and fall. So as this empire — the British Empire, or Western civilization — as it falls, it’s our duty to think big picture and remember that God has a plan, and He only permits things for a reason.”
