A group of six Christians and a driver have discovered just how anti-Christian France as a whole, Paris in particular truly is after they were arrested for riding in a bus with a graphic that protested the opening ceremony of the Olympics. The sign plastered on the vehicle also demanded an end to the persecution of Christians. The world is seemingly falling more and more under the control of the Evil One and playing their part as pawns in his schemes against Christ.
A total of six team members who are part of an organization called CitizenGO, a group that is based in Madrid and participates in activism by passing around online petitions, were detained by local police and were forced to sleep overnight in a jail cell, according to The Christian Post.
“Six of our team members were forced to spend the night in jail for simply denouncing the mockery of Christians by having the message ‘STOP ATTACKS ON CHRISTIANS’ written on a bus,” CitizenGO said in a post published on X, going on to add their bus activism “is not illegal in any way.”

The message on the bus provided a link to a petition the organization put together that demanded the International Olympic Committee issue an apology for mocking the Last Supper of the Lord Jesus Christ with drag queens, exposed male genitalia, and, in place of the Lord, a lesbian DJ. Calling this blasphemy doesn’t seem strong enough, yet, there isn’t even another word, that I can recall, that describes this behavior more accurately.

“What happens if we stay silent? Our faith, our Christian symbols, will become a permanent parody promoted by queer, LGBTI, and trans lobbies, backed by our globalist leaders and the international left,” the petition, which has garnered more than 387,000 signatures as of Wednesday, went on to tell those that visited the link.
“This was a deliberate and vicious parody humiliating our most cherished beliefs as Christians — they know we are an easy target,” the petition added. “And until we stop them, they will keep doing it. This is about standing up for our faith and ensuring that such blatant profanity is never repeated.”
“We cannot allow them to desecrate our Lord Jesus Christ with such obscenities. If we remain silent, we are sending a message that such disrespect is acceptable,” it continued.
That’s the truth. You can guarantee these folks would never dream of mocking Muhammad and Allah, probably because Muslims have struck fear into their hearts with terrorist attacks. We as Christians would not do such a thing because that goes against our Lord’s teachings. We are to love our enemies and pray for God to bless them. No, we fight by proclamation of the truth. Many Christians have more fear of the world than they do of God, and that’s what’s leading to weak responses from the church.
We must fix that.
In what CitizenGO suggested was a display of “anti-Christian political and ideological persecution,” the team members were reportedly jailed in “gross” conditions, strip-searched and prohibited from calling their lawyers or having access to water. According to a press release from CitizenGO founder Ignacio Arsuaga, the bus had been driving around Paris since 9 a.m. without incident until French law enforcement surrounded it and stopped it at gunpoint, arresting the six campaigners and the bus driver at around 7 p.m.
Arsuaga alleged without evidence that police were dispatched to stop the bus by a French prosecutor under the orders of French President Emmanuel Macron. He added that his organization plans to file a lawsuit against Macron, the prosecutor and the French police.
“Woke governments are becoming increasingly totalitarian,” he stated. A lawyer representing the organization worked to get the group released the following day after 4 a.m., maintaining the claim they did not commit any sort of crime or break the law in any way.
“It appears impossible to constitute the crime of failing to communicate a protest because there is no protest in the presence of one unique vehicle,” the lawyer stated. “The prosecutor pushed the law to its limits to stop the bus and limit their free speech. Moreover, the procedure was irregular.”
The folks at CitizenGo also shared video footage on X showing their bus being escorted by local law enforcement out of the city of Paris after they were taken into custody.
“They are tyrannical, anti-Christian bullies,” CitizenGO remarked. “It’s absurd.”

Billionaire owner of X, Elon Musk, caught wind of the incident and simply shared a post of exclamation marks as a response to the ordeal.
