Vice President J.D. Vance reassured his fellow Catholics during the National Prayer Breakfast on Friday that President Donald Trump has already tossed out the Biden administration’s anti-Christian policies. And that’s a good thing for all believers in Jesus Christ, regardless of if you’re a Catholic or not.
During his time in office, former President Joe Biden and his administration prosecuted pro-life Christians and heavily targeted traditional Catholics claiming they were extremists and were highly susceptible to having so-called “white supremacist ideology.”
Which is really strange given that Biden claims to be a practicing Catholic himself. I guess Christ and His Church mean nothing to Biden in comparison to the progressive agenda he was given to push by the rich elite who pull his strings.
While speaking at the breakfast event, Vance stated that the president, while he’s not a Catholic himself, has already taken several actions in order to protect Catholics and Christian Americans from finding themselves in the sights of federal officials.
“I feel very confident in saying that between protecting the rights of pro-life protesters, between ensuring that we have an opportunity to protect the rights of the unborn in the first place and most importantly, protecting the religious liberty of all people, but in particular Catholics,” Vance went on to tell the attendees. “I think we can say that President Trump, though not a Catholic himself, has been an incredibly good president for Catholics in the United States of America.”
“The vice president criticized the Biden administration for prosecuting pro-life activists who prayed and protested outside of abortion clinics. Under the Biden administration, at least 15 FBI agents raided the home of Catholic pro-life activist Mark Houck in Oct. 2022 and arrested him for allegedly violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act over an altercation between himself and Planned Parenthood abortion clinic escort, Bruce Love,” The Daily Caller reported.

Houck, who looking down the barrel of a maximum sentence of 11 years behind bars, ultimately pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, stating that he was only protecting his 12-year-old son from being verbally assaulted and pushed Love.
A jury acquitted Houck of all charges in January 2023.
In a separate case, the FBI retracted a leaked memo from the Richmond field office in 2023 that considered infiltrating groups of Roman Catholics who prefer Latin mass due to their supposed potential of committing “violence.” The document accused traditional Catholics, who attend the pre-1970 Latin Mass, as being susceptible to “anti-Semitic, anti-immigrant, anti-LGBTQ and white supremacist ideology.”
Vance also said that the current administration is taking steps to prevent late-term abortions. Something the supposed devout Catholic Biden failed to do. He even refused to name a point during a woman’s pregnancy that an abortion should not be permitted.
“On every single one of those issues, in 30 short days, Donald J. Trump has gone in the exact opposite direction and I am thankful for that and I’m sure every single person in this room is thankful for that as well,” Vance said during his speech.
Biden drew the ire of many a Catholic priest over his support for abortion. However, what might ultimately get him excommunicated from the Church is that he joined a historically black Freemason lodge the day before he left the White House for good.
In 2019, Father Robert E. Morey denied Biden communion at St. Anthony Catholic Church due to his beliefs on abortion.
